– we are only notifying you of the policy if you are interested in moving forward with the application process.The PositionThe Adler Planetarium is seeking a Development Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team located on Chicago’s Museum Campus.

Under the direction of the Senior Director of Development, this position is focused on providing administrative support for the entire Development team.

This individual will also be responsible for:Providing support for donor visits (in-person and virtual) and department-led events including hybrid-board meetings, committee meetings, and development events.Support Manager of Database Operations with gift processing, timely acknowledgment letter distribution, and data entry projects as needed.Provide administrative support for the preparation of meetings, including coordinating meeting materials, scheduling and monitoring conference calls, and managing logistical arrangements.Provide project management support for the Development team and across divisions as appropriate, moving major projects forward in a dynamic, collaborative method.Manage department expenditures with approval of Senior Director and Vice President including monthly credit card expense processing.Be the primary contact for department mail and general communications with donors.Maintain team resources including the inventory of supplies/materials, e-file management, email distribution groups, and teleconference technology.Please submit a resume and cover letter for consideration.
