Career Advantage: Full Charge Bookkeeper And Administrative Assistant

Our client, a boutique privately-owned real estate investment and finance firm, is seeking to hire a Full Charge Bookkeeper and Admin.

This position will report directly to the CEO.The candidate will support two business lines: A Real Estate Investment firm that it co-invests with institutions, high net worth individuals, family offices and trusts in real estate and a lending business that specializes in financing short-term private money bridge loans secured by commercial real estate located in the Western US.

The candidate is expected to:Oversee day-to-day accounting operations of commercial property.Oversee the accounting and servicing of loan originations.Process payroll for company employees and track PTO.Manage and complete general ledger journal entries and cash balanceProcess accounts receivable and review accounts payable for each respective property, originated loans, and company principal.Complete bank reconciliationsReview and Prepare Balance Sheets and Income Statements per property to verify account balances and reasonable revenue and expense amounts on a monthly basis for up to 20 entities.Compile financial statements and portfolios for company principalAP and AR for company PrincipalAdministrative duties and support of CEOQualification RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in AccountancyAt least 5 Year work ExperienceStrong command of Quickbooks, Financial Accounting, AP, AR, Accurate preparation of GL, Balance Sheet, Budgets, Financial Statements.Strong Analytical SkillsDetail OrientedExcellent OrganizationHighly motivated with aspiration for growthKnowledge of Commercial Real Estate and Mortgage Banking, a plusJob Type: Full-timeExperience:Accounting/ Full Charge Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Location:Los Angeles, CA (Required)
