Administrative Specialist, Regulatory Affairs

ResponsibilitiesThe Regulatory Affairs Office of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking to hire an Administrative Specialist. Primary duties include: Facilitate State, CLIA, and CAP licensure applications and renewals Manage all facility issues including repairs, cleaning, office equipment and supplies, telecommunications, mail and express services Maintain lab reference manuals and technical protocols Coordinate committee meetings and educational programs Assist with the preparation and selection of students for the CLS training program Assist with inspections and audits including project support and information gathering and analysis Maintain spreadsheets for budget preparationQualifications Experience with coordinating projects and programs Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Experience with writing procedures and reports is a plus Ability to gather and analyze data Excellent interpersonal skills Strong writing skills Resourceful with outstanding time management and organization skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independentlyUCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
