Administrative Assistant (Underwriting)

This position is based in Los Angeles, CA and is not a fully-remote work opportunity.

JOB DUTIES:

* Conduct customer and third party phone interviews to validate identity and ensure all verifications, clarifications or questions posed by Loan Officer are answered and properly documented.
* Gather and safeguard required or stipulated loan documents.
* Review loan applications and documents to ensure requirements are met; maintain data integrity; and avoid or identify fraud/identity theft
* Follow-up on pending loans for completeness and/or resolution as indicated by Loan Officer(s).
* Perform a Quality Control review on all completed loan packages to ensure data and document integrity is maintained.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Previous Call Center experience
* Must be able to thrive in fast paced, high volume environment
* Must have strong attention to detail and organization skills.
* Professional written/verbal communication skills.
* Prior experience processing and validating application information preferably in financial services or lending is a plus.

* SHIFT: fluctuates between a 7 am and 9 am start time, Mon-Fri, with periodic Saturday shifts. Subject to change depending on business need.

WORKING FROM HOME: This position requires training in-office for a minimum of three months. The ability to work from home will be reviewed after the training period is complete. Work-from-Home privileges are subject to change at any time.
