– Administrative AssistantThe Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting a professional or team to help with organization and tasks that affect the overall productivity of a company.

The Administrative Assistant will provide support to managers, other employees and office visitors while handling a variety of tasks in order to ensure that all interactions between the organization and others are positive and productive.

This Administrative Assistant will support Disaster Case Management professionals and teams.

The Administrative Assistant reports to Deputy Program Manager.The responsibilities include but are not limited to:The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting a professional or team to help with organization and tasks that affect the overall productivity of a company.The Administrative Assistant will provide support to managers, other employees and office visitors while handling a variety of tasks in order to ensure that all interactions between the organization and others are positive and productive.This Administrative Assistant will support Disaster Case Management professionals and teams.The Administrative Assistant reports to Deputy Program Manager.The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the following:Answer phones and greet visitorsSchedule appointments and maintain calendarsSchedule and coordinate staff and other meetingsPreparation of all out-going mail and appropriate distribution of all in-coming mailPrepare communications, such as memos, emails, reports and other correspondenceWrite and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documentsCreate and maintain filing systems, both physical and electronicMaintain a high standard to protect client information and confidentialityWork collaboratively with Team, Disaster Case Managers and Supervisors, and Program Management to meet program goals and performance targetsExhibit a strong work ethic and a desire to adhere to strict boundaries and professional ethics while working towards the care of others and exhibiting awareness of the impact of a disaster on the community.Maintain a complete understanding of all applicable Program policies and requirementsOther duties as assignedAtAECOM , we’re delivering a better world.We believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone.

– driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.Here, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunityMinimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma plus 2 years of related administrative Assistant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationMust pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check; many projects/clients are security sensitiveMust pass pre-employment drug screenFrequent repetitive or fine hand movements performs keyboard/mouse operations.Preferred QualificationsOn occasion position may require travel between job sites to Lake Charles, LA, or satellite offices in Alexandria, Leesville, Shreveport, Jonesboro and Cameron, LA.Basic knowledge of a Disaster Case Management ProgramAdvanced time management skills which result in high levels of organization, productivity, and effectivenessStrong Computer knowledge to schedule meeting, emails, reports, and other administrative support duties.Perform day to day support functions for a project using established systems and proceduresAdditional Information:Sponsorship Opportunities for US Employment Authorization are not available for this position.Relocation Benefits are not available for this position.What We OfferWe will give you the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
