Administrative Assistant III/Contact Tracer

This position has dual functionality, primary conducting contact tracing, second to function in administrative support to Occupational Health (OH) Department.

You will be responsible for reaching out to all persons who have come into close contact with a COVID-19 infected individual and providing them with information and guidance to interrupt ongoing transmission and reduce spread.

You will use a web-based platform and telephone to communicate with assigned contacts, obtain symptom information, refer contacts for testing, and provide instructions for quarantine.

You will also be required to follow all scripts, policies and procedures provided by the UCLA Health.ResponsibilitiesThis position has dual functionality, primary conducting contact tracing, second to function in administrative support to Occupational Health (OH) Department.

You will also be required to follow all scripts, policies and procedures provided by the UCLA Health.In this role, you will also provide administrative and patient care support to the Occupational Health Department staff and will assist in coordinating patient flow throughout the clinic, from registration to discharge.

You will work as a member of the OH clinic team to provide smooth outpatient flow resulting in optimum patient satisfaction and clinic operation.Qualifications* Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with administrators, physicians, peers, and the public* Demonstrated oral and written communication skills to obtain and to convey information clearly, concisely and accurately.* Skill in recognizing an emergency or high priority situation and taking appropriate and immediate action* Advanced organizational skills to ensure a workable, efficient office.* Ability to communicate effectively and function in a team-oriented work group.* Strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively work with a diverse team of individuals in group setting.* Experience with various computer software and hardware including word-processing, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CareConnect, Cisco Finesse, Qualtrics, Sales Force and the internet* Familiarity with UCLA Health system, working knowledge of University policies and procedures strongly preferred* Advanced clinical knowledge of medical diagnoses, procedures, protocols, treatments, and terminology.* Minimum 3 years experience in a high pace professional medical clinic preferred* BA or BS preferredUCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
