Mountainside is a joint venture between Hackensack Meridian Health and Ardent Health Services, one of the country’s leading private hospital management companies.We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Administrative Assistant to join the Mountainside TeamWhat You’ll Do The Administrative Assistant performs functions that specifically support the nursing division to ensure optimal workflow regarding staffing, schedules, patient bed placement and reports related to regulatory compliance.The successful candidate will be able to:Answer phones and assist nursing team members in a professional, courteous mannerAssist in obtaining replacement staff when needed to ensure optimal staffing levels and appropriate utilization of staff resources Work collaboratively with nursing supervisor, managers/directors of nursing units on daily staffing plans based on established matrix, unit census and staff availabilityTimely and accurate cost center changes made to staff schedules Timely and accurate updating of schedules to reflect call outsWork collaboratively with other nursing administrative assistants to ensure that required reports are completed and submitted on timeProvide payroll, staffing and scheduling reports for nursing units as requestedBed planning
– assist/facilitate patient placement and patient transfers on units Perform any and all other duties as assigned ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Bring High School diploma or equivalency Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office/hospital environment required.
