Administrative Assistant

USC Health Sciences Advancement is seeking an Administrative Assistant. Under the direction of the Operations Specialist for the Office of Alumni Relations and medical Education Fundraising, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative assistance through functions such as planning, organizing, coordinating, scheduling, and implementing project activities to meet objectives.Essential job duties include, but not limited to:Plan, coordinate, and attend events, meetings, or other activities as requestedAssist in the administration and coordination of a variety of administrative, academic, clinical, and education tasks and projects. Identify, cultivate, and steward alumni and volunteersResearch, gather, organize, enter, reconcile, and summarize data for administrative and/or project reports and/or activitiesCollaborate with development officers to share information on events and engagement opportunitiesConduct quality assurance reviews of assigned projectsPromote an environment that fosters inclusive relationships and creates unbiased opportunities for contributions through ideas, words, and actions that uphold principles of the USC Code of EthicsWork effectively on multiple projects, set priorities, and maintain schedulesAttend professional meetings and seminars to enhance professional competence.Able to coordinate work with variety of people, including student volunteers, university officials, professional recruiters, and potential donorsPerform other related duties as assigned or requested.
