– NDT firms run by NDT peoplePosition Summary:Acuren Inspection is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our operations in Akron, OH.The Administrative Assistant will perform administrative and office support activities.

Duties will include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, faxing, and may include coordination of purchasing and facilities management.

Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced, change environment.Responsibilities:Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messagesCompile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activitiesOperate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computersCompute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reportsMaintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computerOpen, sort, and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mailReview files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requestsGreet and direct all visitors and clientsFile and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reportsPerform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping workAssist with any other departmental duties as required, to include uploading payroll spreadsheetsCompetencies:Highly detail oriented with exceptional planning and organization skillsStrong problem analysis and problem resolution skillsStrong interpersonal, communication, andteam-orientedskillsHighly adaptable with ability to work in afast-pacedoffice environmentRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years general office experienceExperience with Microsoft Office Programs with strong Excel, Word and Outlook skillsBenefits:Competitive SalaryMedical, dental, and supplemental insurance401K PlanPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffAcuren Inspection, Inc.
