JOB SUMMARY FOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT:

General Purpose Responsible for project and office management, including a substantial variety of correspondence, records and accounts. Work duties require accuracy and attention to detail. Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT:

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel – Advanced

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong leadership skills

Strong customer service delivery

Strong grammar, spelling and punctuation

Ability to meet deadlines – Intermediate level

Strong planning and organizing skills

Strong analytical ability

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to learn multiple applications and software

Knowledge of mainframe systems – Advanced

Data and Document Management experience – Advanced

Office machine operation – Advanced level

Position related experience – 1-5 years

Coordinates and monitors special or unusual projects

Attends meetings/disseminates information and makes suggestions for future development
