The Senior Analyst will be a member of the Technology Finance division, within Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, and will work closely with a Relationship Manager, responsible for the management of a portfolio of loans to middle-market software companies. Core responsibilities include the following: (i) assist in execution of financing transactions for (private equity) sponsors and clients, including the completion of due diligence, financial modeling, credit analysis, drafting of investment memorandums, and legal documentation; (ii) interact directly with the executive management team of all clients, including participation in client meetings and on-site visits; (iii) prepare monthly trend reports and present such reports along with any client updates to senior management; (iv) analyze periodic financial performance and compare actual results against budget and covenant levels, understand financial projections, and stay current on industry standards and key competitors; (v) perform annual non-transactional risk rating assessments, enterprise valuations, and discounted cash flow analyses; (vi) complete various compliance-related activities, as required by Wells Fargo and regulatory bodies.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial lending experience, credit analysis experience, or a combination of both
Other Desired Qualifications
- strong financial modeling acumen
- experience with LBO models
- prior experience in credit, investment banking, consulting, or accounting (preferably in the software/technology sector)
- ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet time sensitive deadlines.
