Responsibilities
The VP, Underwriter Real Estate Finance reports to the Managing Director and will be responsible for underwriting commercial real estate loans.
CIT Real Estate Finance is currently seeking a VP of Underwriting who will:
Underwrite commercial real estate loans including transitional and construction for multi-family, office, retail, industrial, and hotel properties.
Complete credit approval memos and submission for approval.
Present findings for Credit Approval.
Manage transaction process including review of property due diligence and negotiation of legal documentation.
Assist in portfolio management of loans post origination.
Monitor performance on an existing portfolio of loans.
Work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to think critically
Qualifications
