Entertainment company located near West Los Angeles is looking for a VP of Accounting.
Reporting to the CFO, the VP of Accounting, will be responsible for drafting, preparing, and filing SEC reports (i.e., 10Q & 10k reports, drafting footnotes, preparing proxy statements, conducting technical research, etc.), and conducting SOX compliance.
Additional duties for the VP of Accounting include analyzing consolidated financial statements and investment balance sheets, managing reporting schedules, establishing internal control systems for newly acquired subsidiaries, consolidate current companies and assisting with future acquisitions.
The VP of Accounting will also analyze stock-based compensation and perform ad hoc reporting.
Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
CPA is required.
Big 4 is extremely preferred.
SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and a track record of establishing internal controls experience is REQUIRED.
