Description:
As the Vice President of Finance at AUDIENCEX, you will oversee our finance department, ensuring our financial strategies are not only robust and forward-thinking but also align seamlessly with our broader business objectives. In addition you will play a critical role in steering our company towards a successful Initial Public Offering (IPO). Your experience in guiding a company through an IPO will be instrumental in this transformative phase of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning: Develop strategic financial plans to support and accelerate the company’s growth, encompassing long-term financial forecasting, investment strategies, and comprehensive risk management.
Budget Management: Direct the budgeting process to enforce financial discipline, ensuring cost-effectiveness across all departments.
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Deliver precise and timely financial reports; analyze these reports to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
Team Leadership: Oversee a dynamic finance team, cultivating an environment of flexibility and efficiency. Adapt to the evolving needs of the digital media landscape.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary financial contact for the company, adeptly communicating with investors, board members, and other key stakeholders.
IPO Leadership: Lead the charge in preparing the company for an IPO, liaising closely with investment bankers, legal teams, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
Requirements:
Experience: At least 10-15 years in a senior financial role, with specific expertise in leading a company through an IPO.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fields, with an MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the digital media and advertising sector is highly valued.
Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills with the capability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.
Adaptability: Adept at operating in a fast-paced, evolving industry and managing a variety of concurrent priorities.
