VP, Corporate Accounting (60336)

Our client is an investment management firm. They are looking for a VP, Corporate Accounting to join their Los Angeles, CA office.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly NAV, weekly executive reporting, and ad hoc reporting
- Contribute to the preparation of the quarterly financial statements
- Maintain accounting records, including trade activity, revenue recognition, etc.
- Produce a variety of schedules that detail the portfolio and portfolio activity
- Draft financial statements and related schedules and coordinate with external auditors
- Monitor and maintain fund expense budgets and oversight of expense payments
- Review maintenance covenants and prepare compliance filings for the lenders
- Collaborate with external servicers, administrators, auditors, and tax consultants
- Liaise with Operations, Investor Relations, Compliance, Legal, and the investment team
Requirements
- 12+ years of corporate accounting experience
- Financial Services/Hedge Fund background
