Valuation Advisory Services – Senior Consultant – Real Estate Appraisal

CohnReznick Advisory Group currently has an exciting career opportunity in the Valuation Advisory Services practice. We are looking for a Senior Valuation Consultant for our Real Estate Appraisal team.

Responsibilities:
- Design scope of work for engagements;
- Responsible for quality control and accuracy of client deliverables;
- Oversee staff and team, ensuring quality work is performed in a timely manner;
- Perform site visits, identify various types of equipment across several industries and prepare subsequent reports;
- Improve internal processes, procedures, policies, analyses, and models;
- Coach, mentor and train staff;
- Develop Excel models as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field;
- 3-5 years of minimum experience performing financial analysis or data driven research;
- Previous experience performing commercial real estate appraisals and/or valuations;
- Licensed Real Estate Appraiser or Trainee and/or MAI designation a plus;
- Proven experience in financial modeling and real estate, including experience with ARGUS;
- Familiarity with Report Writing software, CoStar and MLS;
- Experience and passion for Real Estate;
- Comprehensive knowledge of valuation methodologies and real estate terminology;
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Flexibility of work schedule to meet client needs required;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
