US Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily reconciliation of bank accounts and daily cash payment to ensure accurate cash management.
Process monthly financial statements and monthly financial closing to ensure accurate closing data.
Lead and manage the budgeting process.
Oversee all sides of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation.
Maintain relationships with lending/financial institutions.
Develop appropriate tracking methods for revenue and expenses.
Manage insurance coverage for the organization, including compliance.
Advise on financing options to support an organization’s growth.
Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly reports
Be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of financial information to appropriate groups, including internal parties, government regulators, and outside agencies.
Managing all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property, and other applicable taxes.

Requirements:
5+ years of managerial accounting and financial management experience.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.

CPA and/or CMA preferred but not required.
Experience working in a growing start up environment strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.
