The Business Services Portfolio Team within Consumer Small Business Banking Technology is seeking a Tech Business Services Principal Associate to provide technology portfolio management expertise and leadership.
This role will be aligned to a customer journey technology leader and will work with other roles including journey delivery manager, architect, journey release train engineers and product managers to facilitate planning and prioritization events that provide transparency and governance to the portfolio book of work.
This is not a project management or delivery role.
Demonstrated proficiency in scaled agile portfolio planning is required.
Job responsibilities: Supports technology journey owner in visibility into full book of work.
Produces book of work supplier views.
Supports aligned line of business in brokering across technology.
Produces book of work buyer views.
Builds strong partnerships within technology and line of business Facilitates events to evaluate incoming demand against fixed capacity (may including journey planning and prioritization, big room planning, portfolio synchronization, etc.) Connects book of work with financials.
May assist with annual planning.
Supports technology journey owner in visibility into full book of work Escalation point for Team of Teams product managers and journey release train engineers Required Qualifications 10 years of technology experience 5 years of technology portfolio or demand management experience 3 years of implementation experience with scaling frameworks such as LeSS (Large Scale Scrum Framework) or SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or a combination of both Desired Qualifications Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management Experience in building strong teams with a culture focused on partnering across groups, customer service and focus on managing a pipeline JIRA experience Experience using the team collaboration software Confluence Experience moving teams and organizations from Waterfall to Agile methodologies and Agile Transformations 4 years of experience leading and executing complex technology transformational programs across an enterprise Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, modeling and tracking Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills Other Desired Qualifications Familiarity with Jira Align or other agile portfolio planning tool Experience providing leadership and/or managing a geographically dispersed team Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology delivery various aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences and levels verbally, in written format and through presentations Good analytical skills including strategically analyzing data and diagnosing opportunities/interventions Experience identifying key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution Experience in achieving performance optimization and gains in operational effectiveness for product and services Financial Services experience is strongly preferred Job Expectations Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Flexibility to adjust work schedule in accordance to the time zone for the market you are supporting Salary Information To be determined Disclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
