Position Summary:

EVgo is seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our team General Ledger/Accounts Receivable Team to support our dynamic and growing Finance Team. Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, you are a skilled Staff Account leveraging your education and GL/AR experience to support various financial functions. The successful candidate will conduct their work with efficiency and accuracy and have the opportunity to interact with all facets of Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of accrued expenditures and deferred revenues.
  • Coordinate with AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Tax teams to accurately record expenses and accruals.
  • Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing duties; including but not limited to:
    • Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Prepare and book journal entries.
    • Providing accurate backup documentation for transactions.
  • Organize and prepare 10Q Schedules and tables for Financial Statement disclosures.
  • Consulting with management in various departments regarding accruals, e.g , including engineering, sales operations, IT and Legal.
  • Setup of additional business entities, daily operational tasks, audit support, etc.
  • Ad hoc reporting and special projects.
