The Sr.

Financial Services Representative opens new consumer and non-personal accounts with accuracy, efficiency and professionalism, meeting the high quality service delivery standards of the Bank.

The Sr.

Financial Services Representative educates clients on the features and benefits of bank products and services, works to help identify their needs, and when appropriate refers clients to other team mem members within the bank.

Attends training and demonstrates a strong knowledge of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations governing financial institutions; including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti Money Laundering (AML) legislation, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Consumer Privacy, Information Security, Bank Protection Act and various other regulations.RESPONSIBILITIESAssists clients in opening all types of personal and non-complex non personal checking, savings and certificate of deposit accounts.

Complies with CIP standards and reviews all new account documentation for accuracy, insuring complete compliance with Bank policies and procedures serving as a first line of defense for risk management.Has a thorough knowledge of bank products and services and educates clients on features and benefits, profiling for the appropriate product needs providing all applicable disclosures, brochures and other information in compliance with all regulatory and bank policies and procedures.Performs follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction.Proactively responds to incoming calls assisting with client requests and resolving client issues.Works with Branch Service Manager to provide support in all areas of branch operations including new account, teller, and safe deposit box.Proactively assists consumer and business customers in selection of more complicated account needs.Ability to review and understand the documentation needed for different types of sophisticated business accounts in order to satisfy the Bank’s requirementsMay maintain a cash drawer to support teller transactions.Assist with client service requests and process account maintenance within assigned authority.Ensures that all documents supporting address changes and debit card maintenance are in place.Responsible for reviewing and verifying daily reports assigned by management.May perform notary duties.QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of bank experience Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
