Job Details

We need a Sr. Financial Analyst (Hybrid!) to join our team in Anaheim! You will develop and maintain all analytical activities within the Finance department. The position will be responsible for developing and implementing improved managerial accounting information such as budgets, cost accounting, procedure margin analysis, etc. as well as support the operation of our health centers with analytical and productivity information under the direction of the VP of Finance.
A key component of this position is hands-on support in gathering, analyzing, and presenting financial and operational information to improve decision making throughout the organization.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain margin analysis of monthly financial reports at each clinic level through collaboration with Patient Services, Finance and Revenue Cycle Team.
  • Develop and maintain margin analysis of each service type that the organization offers through collaboration with Patient Services, Finance and Revenue Cycle Team.
  • Provides ad hoc financial and business analytic decision support on numerous revenue and cost-saving initiatives, and/or other assigned projects.
  • Leverages tools and systems to quickly access data and present information to various levels of management and ensure the data integrity of all reports.
  • Support the long-range planning process with modeling and analytics.
  • Provide support around strategic initiatives such as business expansion and new service pricing model.
  • Conducts price and rate analysis based on costs and assists in the development of sliding fee scale.
  • Works with Management in an educational capacity helping then understand and analyze variance reporting and budgeting.
  • Assist with annual budgeting process.
  • Responsible for developing financial and operational analysis procedures manual.
  • May support the reconciliation of general ledger activities including patient accounting subsidiary systems.
  • May support certain month end closing duties.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Cost Accounting or related field, Masters preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of previous hands-on analytical experience in Operations and Finance.
  • Healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
  • LEAN or Six Sigma experience preferred.

Minimum Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience working in a mix of Finance and Financial Systems roles required.
  • Experience with BI, Tableau, Cognos strongly desired.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, etc.) required.
  • Experience working with finance leadership and global stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
