A privately held real estate firm specializing in acquisition and management of premier real estate property.
Portfolio consists of high end retail and mixed use properties.
Work with a boutique firm with the financial backing of a much larger outfit.
This position is located in Malibu, CA. You must be able to work in the office on a daily basis, when safe to do so.
Currently open on experience. Positions available for both mid level and senior level accountants.

Job Details
As a senior accountant you will be responsible for assisting with the accounting and financial reporting for trusts, foundations and real estate investment.
- Prepare journal entries
- Perform variance analyses and account reconciliations
- Prepare Bank Reconciliations, Financial Statements
- Work on month and year end close
- Work with accounting and tax team on complex projects and initiatives
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related
- Business accounting background – real estate experience highly desired
- Strong computer skills to include MS Office Excel and Word. Intacct, Appfolio and Yardi a plus
- Familiar with SEC filings and regulations a plus
- Looking for a true professional, high level of accuracy, self directed, motivated and independent
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
