We create experiences.Our key building blocks:IndependenceInnovationInclusionCommunitySustainabilityWe’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to leverage your apparel industry accounting experience and provide overall accounting support and expertise in preparing month-end reconciliations, routine accounting activities, reviewing financial statements against budgets, cost analysis and other ad hoc projects.What you’ll doAs the Senior Accountant, you’ll ensure that reconciliations and accounting activities are completed within the proper timeline and in accordance with company and GAAP practices, and you’ll be a resource to other team members in AP and AR.How you’ll do itPrepare journal entries, financial statement support schedules and management reportsGL reporting and expense analysisAnalyze transactions, events, and circumstances that caused changes in the Companies’ assets, liabilities and equity for proper recognition in the financial statementsAssist with oversight, implementation and documentation of internal control proceduresCreate and maintain process SOPsAssist in month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial statement reporting in accordance with US GAAPActively participate in annual financial statement audits, reviews and tax preparation preparing audit schedules and reconciliationsPrepare the filings/reports of quarterly/annual property, sales and use tax returnsOversee 1099 process and filingsSupport and liaise with our AP, AR and accounting clerksAbility to interact with internal and external personnel to obtain financial dataOther ad hoc and/or finance related assignmentsRequirements:A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/AccountingMinimum 3-5 years of experience in general accounting, auditing and/or corporate finance experience.

Public accounting experience is a plus, but not required.Advanced MS Excel, Word and Outlook skillsCPA or CPA Candidate preferredKnowledge of US GAAP and application of accounting principlesAdvanced excel skills; ability to set-up and effectively use accounting software, spreadsheets, etc.
