Key responsibilities
Responsible for all of the Company’s financial status, actions and transactions.

Prepares, develops and analyses financial information to allow the organization to make well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, profitability and growth.

Establish and maintain financial policies and management information systems and are an integral function to inform management colleagues on all aspects of company finance.
More specifically, the person will be required to:
Prepare and enter monthly journal entries into Oracle
Prepare Reconciliations of general ledger accounts
Support preparation of monthly financial statements
Review bank account activity for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Manage capital expenditure, maintain fixed assets register and calculate monthly depreciation expense
Through research and follow up, ensure that reconciling items and discrepancies in accounting data are resolved in a timely manner.
Prepare and provide documents (e.g.

reconciliations, supporting schedules) by requested deadlines to the Company’s external and internal auditors to ensure timely completion of quarterly reviews, the annual financial statement audit and SOX compliance test work.
Perform ad hoc accounting projects on an as needed basis
Attend and audit quarterly physical inventory activity
Provide detail and analysis on individual income statement accounts
Respond to management requests by analyzing financial data on a monthly basis
Support completion of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Audits
All Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and skills

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

· 5+ years of experience in accounting

· Strong analytical and accounting skills

· Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook

· Knowledge of Oracle general ledger and Hyperion Financial Management reporting tool

· Multi-task projects

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and on a team

· Proven technical ability

· Ability to manage, delegate, motivate, monitor and control team activity

· Strong commercial acumen

· Ability to meet deadlines without supervision

Experience:
Oracle, MS Office, Reconciliations, ad hoc accounting, audits, acccounting: 5 years (Required)
