Responsibilities Recommend optimal capital structure in of Company’s debt and equity; utilize experience in raising capital through debt, private and public equity markets Utilize analysis of past results, current plans, and forecasts to assist cross functional groups in predicting/optimizing future results, as well as communicating to investors Evaluation of acquisition opportunities, assessment of synergies, analysis of financial data and investment valuation, and process of post-close analysis Review of budgets and analysis of financial performance for use in company decision-making Review profitability of various revenue sources and various internal business units Monitor capacities of resources within the organization and identify when additional investment is necessary Conduct analyses and deliver presentations of competitive landscape and keep abreast of trends to identify patterns, opportunities, and gaps Develop and maintain strategic relationships with internal clients and other departments within the firm Respond to internal client requests with optimal customer service while operating within ethical and compliance guidelines Lead collaboration of team members and cross functional groups on ways to improve current processes or implement new processes Special projects as needed Skills and Knowledge Confident communicator with ability to build strong working relationships in a team environment Ability to ramp-up quickly on subject matter and synthesize salient information into succinct verbal and written communication Strong experience modeling in Excel, importing/exporting data, and presenting in verbal and written format (Tableau and Alteryx a plus) Experience leading a team, able to identify opportunities for positive change in the department Should be adaptable to changing needs in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Ability to conceptualize and support big picture concepts and goals of the organization Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond Highly organized, detail oriented, with strong analytical skills Qualifications A bachelor’s degree required, preferred degrees in Accounting, Finance or Economics (MBA is a plus) Minimum of 10-15 years of strong quantitative, analytical and research skills Experience working with private equity, preferred 1st or 2nd seat in raising financing through institutional debt markets and Public Equity Markets We welcome your interest in being a part of Mariner Wealth Advisors.
