Senior Tax Accountant
Job Responsibilities include:
- Prepare federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and exempt organizations
- Perform tax research
- Resolve tax notices from IRS or other tax authorities
- Assist in federal, state and local tax audits
- Analyze and review financial statements
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA candidates are preferred)
- Minimum 3 years tax preparation and accounting experience in public accounting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe products
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
- Proficient with accounting/bookkeeping software including QuickBooks
- Knowledge of Ultra Tax CS, Accounting CS, and File Cabinet CS software is a plus
- Experience in financial statements preparation is a Plus
