The successful Sr.

Private Bank Relationship Manager will have extensive knowledge of our local Irvine, CA communities and experience attracting new business relationships while deepening and retaining our existing private bank relationships.

This position focuses on generating, managing, and servicing a portfolio of high net worth clients.

Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to generate, retain and expand business in the following areas: loan and deposit products, investment and trust referrals, commercial business referrals, new client leads through existing clients, referrals from other bank departments and other centers of influence.

This position requires strong sales, self-management, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, perceptive character judgment, financial planning and enabling recognition of investments, brokerage sales, and referral possibilities.

General Duties And Responsibilities
Directly responsible for the quality of the private banking loan portfolio including proper documentation and credit quality in conformance with bank policy.

Commitment to a high degree of service quality.

Serve as a subject matter expert on loan recommendations, revisions and processing.

Assure compliance with all state and federal regulations concerning private banking.

Ensure marketing efforts support private banking goals and objectives.

Keep abreast of current changes in banking which affect areas of responsibility and inform staff accordingly.

Responsible for maintaining an active role in community affairs to improve bank’s visibility and image.

Requires a Bachelors degree and 6+ years experience with lending, sales, banking products and services, credit review, or other directly related experience.

A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Requires MLO registration with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) Requires Series 7 & 63 FINRA licenses Local candidates preferred.

Requires knowledge of local networks with expertise and pipelines in assigned markets/territories.

Advanced knowledge of banking, commercial lending, mortgages, investments, trusts, affinity and insurance products and services.

Ability to display sound judgment.

Excellent sales, self-management, credit analysis, loan structuring, applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment skills.

Detail oriented, ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and ability to work independently.

Strong sales, client product, credit, and relationship management skills.

Working knowledge of banking products and procedures, consumer and commercial credit structuring.
