Senior, Operations Finance

This position will support both the North Chicago Manufacturing and the Americas Pharma Region Operations team.

Key products manufactured in North Chicago include Rinvoq Stage One and Elagolix and the Americas Pharma Region includes manufacturing and packaging sites that include key products, such as Humira, HCV (Viekira/Mavyret), Imbruvica, Venetoclax, and Synthroid.

Americas Pharma Region Finance is responsible for the consolidating, reporting, and analysis of the Americas Pharma Region operations.

The Senior Cost Analyst is responsible for financial accounting, cost allocation, collection of data and preparation of reports that maintain AbbVie’s cost accounting systems for businesses supported.

Key Responsibilities Include: Provide financial support to North Chicago production business unit section manager(s).

Develop cost standards and annual financial plan for production business unit(s); develop year-to-year cost change analysis for product(s) supported.

Leads plant reviews and understands the growth/performance of their business and analyzes variances of actuals vs plan.

Consolidating the Plan and Update, Flash/LBE (Latest Best Estimate) preparation for the Americas Pharma Region.

Responsible for assisting Americas Pharma Operations team in the Monthly Operations Review, identification of areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, annual budget process, periodic forecasting and periodic analysis of operations performance.

Maintain internal controls and account reconciliations for respective business unit inventory to ensure appropriate inventory valuation and safeguards.

Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision making.

This position will report directly to the North Chicago Manufacturing Site Controller with dotted line reporting to the Americas Pharma Region Controller.
