Who We Are Looking For
Thrive Causemetics is on the hunt for a talented and experienced Senior Manager of FP&A to be a key leader in and contributor to our Finance Organization. Specific responsibilities will include assessing the company’s financial performance, providing financial insights and projections to the leadership team. This position will prepare accurate monthly financial reports, assist in preparing presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented self–starter who possesses exceptional organization, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide FP&A finance support to the leadership team related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics on time.
- Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
- Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert in providing additional insights.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners.
- Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.
- Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
- Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
Experience Necessary
- BA or BS in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant analytical experience
- Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools
- Able to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
- High level of commercial acumen
- Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages
