As the Senior Manager for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, you will work directly with the SVP of DE&I to execute the enterprise-wide DE&I strategy.

Your scope will include leading the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Diversity & Inclusion programs and initiatives.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the alignment with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) strategic framework to enhance diversity and workplace inclusion capabilities.

Through your leadership, you will manage performance results, development, and engagement of the DE&I associates.

You will be responsible for defining team priorities, operating standards, and processes as well as leading continuous improvement efforts, in partnership with the SVP of DE&I.

Your career has been built upon being a champion for leading DE&I initiatives across the organization.

You are invested in aligning the DE&I strategy with Capital Group’s People Strategy.

You build effective partnerships with LOBs, HR partners, and DE&I leadership steering committees to support the achievement of DE&I goals and objectives.

You build consensus around recommendations to the line of businesses (LOBs) based on their unique objectives and enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion goals.

You work with HR and Senior Business Leaders to implement DE&I best practices, programs, and metrics.

You are committed to continuous improvement and measure the impact of DE&I initiatives/programs across the organization by evaluating and analyzing Capital’s experience survey results, workforce analytics, and other key performance indicators.

You deliver on Capital’s continuous listening strategy through the administration of various surveys to assess and evaluate associate attitudes on the work environment, inclusion, and sense of belonging.

You are the subject-matter expert and champion for all matters relating to DE&I strategy and implementation and ensure that existing DE&I tools and resources are current while identifying and implementing changes to drive enterprise-wide DE&I objectives.

You will partner with the Enterprise Project Office and business unit leadership on annual planning activities and lead participation in external surveys and benchmarking for approaches to advance DE&I within the enterprise.

You will lead the development and implementation of DE&I training initiatives that further enhance the organization’s strategic capabilities.

You will play a crucial role in positioning Capital Group as a leader in DE&I by participating in conferences, round tables, and panels.

By sharing the latest knowledge of current trends with the HR partners and working with Corporate Communications, you will lead the creation of DE&I communication and messaging to foster accuracy and consistency in our DE&I messaging.

You lead by example and develop high-performing teams ensuring the alignment of internal and external resources with organizational priorities.

You are a natural leader and embrace coaching, developing, and enabling the DE&I team to expand their functional skills and subject-matter expertise.

You forge successful partnerships with external vendors and consulting resources to generate the best outcomes for Capital Group.
