Job Description
The Senior Investment Analyst will be responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing investment opportunities.
Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities for their risks and likely returns
Assist with transaction structuring, negotiating investment terms and performing due diligence
Generate detailed reports on company core strengths and the risks of the investment opportunity, an industry overview, and an analysis on the company or investment manager’s ability to create equity value
Actively participate in marketing for new investment opportunities by developing relationships with investment banks, private equity firms and other deal sources
Prepare quarterly and annual portfolio company reports
Support evaluation and restructuring of non-performing investments
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Senior Investment Analyst candidate will have extensive experience in leveraged finance, leveraged lending, and credit underwriting.
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills are required.
The ability to excel in a lean team, work independently, and meet hard deadlines are a must.
Candidates will be expected to complete a case study and present their findings to the team at some stage in the interview process.
Candidates located in Boston will have priority.
