Job DescriptionFINANCIAL REGULATORY REPORTING ANALYST SENIORWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?Works with the Financial/Regulatory Reporting Manager to perform daily, weekly, quarterly and annual bank financial/regulatory reports.
This position will support meeting the bank’s requirements related to the standalone (bank level), U.S.
intermediate holding company and parent company financial/regulatory reporting.

This group records, analyzes, reports and optimizes to maintain the bank’s financial health, while following principles and legislation to ensure we’re doing what’s right.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Provides solutions to complex analytical challenges as they emerge with little supervision.Designs end-to-end processes to operationalize new reporting requirements.Documents system lineage, develops controls and related documentation needed for the various reports/schedules prepared.Sources, prepares and conducts analyzes for a series of required bank financial/regulatory reports.Works with Financial/Regulatory Reporting Manager, and/or other analysts to provide technical analysis and automated enhancements to reporting processes.Works with Financial/Regulatory Reporting Manager, and/or other analysts to gather and analyze data for various regulatory reporting agencies (i.e., FDIC, FRB, OCC, etc.) performing examination.
Assists in responding to inquiries from regulatory reporting agencies and parent company.Assists with special projects as needed.Maintains a proactive commitment to interface with the appropriate Bank departments in compiling reporting data, validating data accuracy, researching new and existing reporting requirements and enhancing the overall reporting process.WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDMust-Have*Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum 5 years’ experience in accounting and/or financial reportingSkills and KnowledgeWork experience in a Financial Institution preferredAccounting/Finance backgroundCPA track preferredExperienced in MS OfficeAbility to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects at the same time, working under tight deadlinesDemonstrates research capabilities to conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses and draw insights/actionable items from the analysisDemonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to interpret and present information to a variety of audiencesDemonstrates problem solving according to seniority levelAbility to work independently and in teamsPivots to management, peers and other stakeholders when needed to conduct impact assessments and similar consultationsExcellent understanding of US GAAP and applications to Financial Institutions.Ability to accurately, thoroughly and efficiently handle/analyze a high data volume; organize analyzed data into simple, complete and concise presentation formats; envision the global issue, separate symptoms from causes, research thoroughly; weigh costs/benefits and derive sound conclusions.Subject matter expert in one or more areas impacting financial/regulatory reporting requirements (i.e.
