Description
The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and interacts with the regional finance teams and overhead support groups. This position will provide a wide range of financial analysis in regard to forecast, trends, monthly income statement and ad hoc reports.
- Support the strategic planning process and the development of the annual business plan, budget and forecast for the business on an annual, monthly and weekly basis.
- Support the monthly operating reviews and other executive management reports.
- Recognize opportunity and drive improvements with Clarity and Essbase tools.
- Analyze and compare monthly and quarterly reports, metrics and key performance indicators against plan and other benchmarks.
- Analyze productivity (food and labor0, marketing and other business initiatives impact of financial results.
- Performs or compiles ad hoc analyses as required.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate is highly engaged, proficient in systems, can communicate across various levels and is highly collaborative. Position qualifications include:
- Bachelors degree in business related field (finance or accounting preferred) is required.
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant work experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to learn quickly while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Ability to adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Essbase/SmartView.
- Demonstrated excellence in both written and verbal communication skills.
