Senior Financial Analyst

The core responsibilities of the role are:

  • Generate monthly and quarterly sales and traffic reporting and insights for senior management, performing regular audits to ensure data accuracy
  • Partner with centers in monthly sales collection, managing effort directly for larger retailer chains
  • Create sales and traffic ad hoc and trend analyses that enable better decision-making for asset-specific and overall corporate strategy
  • Demonstrate innovative leveraging of rich tenant sales database to derive meaningful insights, including analysis of trends and their potential impact on centers, etc.
  • Collaborate with various departments to complete reporting, providing both related training and ongoing “customer service” (e.g. Center Management, Leasing, Media Sales/Brand Ventures, etc.)
  • Contribute to build-out of self-service tools for sales and traffic data, partnering with IT on design, testing and data validation; fulfill data requests in the meantime
  • Become go-to resource for sales- and traffic-related systems: JDE E1, Mercury, TM1, Mallcomm, etc.
  • Automate and create efficiencies where possible, streamlining reporting efforts and building user-friendly reports for the field
  • Support traffic counting system upgrades and related reconciliations
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of retail industry and overall U.S. economy; contribute to periodic reports on trends, forecasts, retailer expansion/contraction plans, etc.

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Analysis & Insights with:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales reporting, finance, or analytics
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
  • Database knowledge and general data management skills required
  • Ability to take initiative to solve data reporting issues with little direction
  • Proactive and responsive
  • Team-oriented, can-do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards, TM1, Tableau, Python, Javascript (general scripting), VBA helpful
  • Must have a college degree
