Senior Financial Aid Officer

SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Assistant Campus Director, Financial Aid, the Sr. Financial Aid Officer is responsible for timely and accurate processing of refunds and stipends for active and withdrawn students for both West Coast University and American Career College. Provides leadership for Financial Aid Analysts Refund Team as well as the campus Bursars at all West Coast University locations. Trains, develops, and supports staff and partners with other leaders to ensure cross-functional relationships that contribute to the overall success of the organization and students. Monitors performance of Refund Team and WCU Bursars to ensure quality of service and compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
May not be in default on a federal student loan or owe repayment of a federal grant.
Consent to audio and video record student financial aid appointments and overviews for training and quality assurance purposes required.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
2-3 years of relevant experience with 1 years of experience in Financial Aid.
