nn$20MM manufacturing division located in Placentia is adding to their team to be responsible for all manufacturing and cost accounting reporting to the Controller.
This position will handle all month end closing activities and Cost Accounting.
nn Responsible for providing cost estimates, such as price requests, price audits, and price estimates to Customer Service.
Ensures the daily inventory cycle counts are completed in a timely manner for all locations and ensures the accuracy of the reported cycle count.
Performs monthly inventory test counts for work in process (WIP).
Verifies inventory cost records (material, labor, outside processing) using a random sampling of parts/latches on a monthly basis.
Responsible for inventory related month-end close activities as they relate to cost accounting processes.
Collects and analyzes data and reports such as labor performance, historical labor patterns, month-end inventory patterns, and delivery performance to determine trends and to report on adherence to cost accounting controls.
Assists the Controller in the preparation of monthly operating and financial cost reports; provides analyses; outlines problem areas and recommends alternative solutions.
Provides verification of cost accounting and statistical data to substantiate cost evaluations.
