Senior Associate, Finance Live What you will do Amgen is searching for a Senior Associate, Finance who will play a key role in financial support of the Global Commercial Operations (GCO) organization.

The Senior Associate will be part of the GCO Finance team and help support financial consolidation of worldwide GCO operating expenses.

This role will report to the Senior Manager, Finance in charge of Global Sales and OPEX Consolidation in the GCO Finance group.

Key activities for the Senior Associate, Finance include: Leading the worldwide consolidation of GCO operating expenses during financial planning processes such as annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and the long-range plan Supporting the quarter end close processes, variance identification and results explanations to Corporate Finance and Accounting to inform for external reporting Preparing various management reports on financial performance and be able to explain / communicate key variance drivers and insights Provide key financial support and analysis on an ad-hoc basis to help drive and improve business performance as needed.

This includes providing financial support and tracking / reporting of progress versus financial and operational breakthrough targets of key productivity initiatives Preparing financial analysis materials for senior company leadership Partnering with other members of Finance and Accounting on consolidation of GCO activities (forecasts, actual results, etc.) as well as coordinating other ad-hoc projects Key point of contact representing GCO Finance and GCO on cross functional initiatives Win What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our outstanding contributions to serve patients.

Basic Qualifications Masters degree OR Bachelors degree and 2 years of Finance/Accounting experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of Finance/Accounting experience Or High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Finance/Accounting experience Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with corporate planning software and strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint Detail oriented; excellent analytical and math skills Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and team environment Able to take the initiative and work under a minimum of direction Thrive Some of the vast rewards of working here As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates professional and personal growth and well-being.
