We’re working with a High-Growth Global Multi-Media Entertainment Industry that has a fantastic young culture and a ton of upward mobility.
They are seeking a Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller to help create/build and lead a new acquire business they are building out their financial team. Directly reporting to Head of Accounting + CFO and working with Music team.
This role will start remote as the whole company is currently working from home.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist with creating Financial Reporting: Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, P&L for Month/Quarter/Year-End accounting close and financial reports
- Build and track metrics discussed with stakeholders across the business
- Perform key elements of the financial cycle and supporting subsidiary processes.
- Create detailed variance and fluctuation analyses.
- Assist FP&A Team
- Build a team and supervise staff.
- Assists in the annual audit.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is a must, CPA preferred.
- 8+ years accounting experience out of Public Accounting or Private Accounting team is a plus
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- In depth experience working with general ledger and financial analysis, including journal entries and doing detailed account analyses.
