Senior Accounting Analyst Responsible for general accounting duties, analysis and financial reporting C-suite and Upper Management ad-hoc reports, with high visibility and daily interaction Heavy hand in Month End, Quarter End and Year End Close Manages monthly accounting duties and analysis (i.e.
cash reconciliations, journal entries, and commission accounting) Analyzes, consolidates, and interprets financial information for various business entities Preparation of entries for posting to the general ledger ( i.e.
cash, prepaid expenses and commissions) Continuously looking to improve internal controls, processes and policies Responsible for accuracy of balance sheet accounts, researches and resolves any discrepancies Partners with operations and shares knowledge, skills and information within team and other company departments Accountable for improving technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development Ability to work cross functionally with Finance with potential to move internally for promotion Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting 2 years experience in public accounting or corporate accounting Solid understanding of financial statements & U.S.
