– in a search for a newly-created Account Manager (Senior Accountant) position.
Responsibilities include day-to-day management of finance & administration for musician/entertainer clientele & their staff, as well as the facilitation of finance-related communications.
The ideal person is passionate about music and business, entrepreneurial in spirit, an excellent communicator, and motivated to join and contribute to a fast-growing team of passionate music finance professionals.
Responsibilities: * Generating & compiling financial reports* Creating & overseeing tour budgets* Bookkeeping and data upkeep* Managing AP/AR* Identifying and tracking income & royalty payments* Overseeing payroll* Facilitating insurance coverage* Gathering tax information* Working directly with CPA staff to advise clients on tax strategy Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting* Minimum 2+ years experience in music business account management, ideally some Music Label client accounting experience* Experience with and a passion for the Music industry a must!
