We are a growing publicly traded company looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. This person will support all corporate accounting functions including financial reporting, month-end analysis, and closing duties. Responsibilities:
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to supporting schedules
- Analyze financial statements and identify trends
- Provide financial analysis on financial results, operating budgets and revenue data
- Support financial reporting including preparing SEC filings
- Prepare variance analysis and explanations
- Assist with month-end close duties and the annual audit
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA license or CPA in progress is a plus
- 3+ years of accounting or audit experience, preferably in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Compensation: Target hiring salary of $100,000 – $115,000 annually plus additional compensation and large bonus. Salary is dependent on qualifications of candidate.
