Established West LA based Real Estate investment firm is looking for a Sr. Accountant.
Duties & Requirements:
- Responsible for accounting & financial reporting of 10-15 entities.
- Strong interest in the real estate industry and willing to learn.
- Monitor and develop company cash flow projections.
- Assist outside CPA with tax and annual audit.
- Assist with bank negotiations and loan covenant compliance.
- Develop and prepare annual budget.
- 2 + years of corporate or public accounting required.
- Real estate accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong accounting skills and understanding of GAAP.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel & Word) and Yardi software.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Reports to VP.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
- CPA or CPA Candidate is preferred
- Bachelor’s in accounting, business or finance required.
