The Marketing and Communications group provides the tools, resources and guidance to support our bankers and wealth managers in growing existing client relationships and building new ones.

We serve as a strategic partner to our stakeholders in helping to maintain a best-in-class Net Promoter Score through safeguarding and promoting our brand of exceptional client service.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Marketing team works with clients and internal colleagues to tell the story of extraordinary service at First Republic.

The Regional Marketing Manager – Preferred Banking Offices, New York will drive marketing strategy for the Preferred Banking Offices (PBOs) in New York.

They will work closely with their counterparts based in San Francisco and Los Angeles to ensure the implementation of not only bank-wide deposit goals, but also regional marketing plans at the local level to support business growth in New York.

This is a partnership role with a high priority on effective communication, driving marketing strategy and planning for each region in-line with business priorities, delivering new marketing initiatives and collateral, and responding to inquiries from bankers and regional stakeholders.
 
What you’ll do as a Regional Marketing Manager
– Preferred Banking Offices:

– Work closely with the dedicated business unit to develop strategic marketing plans and goals that support their business objectives/marketing strategies.

Coordinate the implementation of those plans in collaboration with other members of regional marketing team

– Conduct post project follow up/analysis to identify opportunities and to refine strategy

– Act as a brand advocate in assigned markets and activate the brand experience through local marketing campaigns and event marketing

– Develop partnerships with retail locations in assigned region, making frequent visits to the offices and building close working relationships to gain a better understanding of how to better support their marketing needs

– Assist in the creation of sales resources (collateral, presentations) and the execution of events and sponsorships – create invitations, pre
– and post-event banker communications, sponsorship ads and submit materials for compliance approval

– Partner with the other Marketing Managers to create programs, collateral and campaigns that attract and engage hard-to-reach prospects and clients

– Manage major risks and issues through effective contingency plans and proper escalation

– Partner with media vendor and business unit to create and execute deposit-related print advertisements

Qualifications

You could be a great fit if you have:

– 3-7 years’ experience

– Understanding of and interest in financial markets and investments.

The ideal candidate will be interested in the current market and opportunities that bankers are discussing with clients

– Strategic mindset with a results orientation who approaches any challenge with thoughtfulness, drive and appropriate urgency.

Must have strong analytical skills.

– Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi task projects and multiple calendars; works well under pressure, thriving under tight deadlines

– Collaborative and hands-on leadership; team player who builds strong relationships

– Proficient knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications.

– Excellent verbal, written and visual communications skills

– Financial services or regulated industry experience preferred.

Luxury brand experience also a plus

– Bachelor’s Degree
