Prime Residential maintains a strong internal management capacity to maximize investment success.nn nn n nn nnWe are seeking an experienced Property Accountant for our Los Angeles office.nn nn n nn nnThe Property Accountant has responsibilities that include but are not limited to assisting the Sr.

Accountant with the preparation of financial reports for multiple entities and related detailed management account analysis on an accrual basis accounting.

The Property Accountant must maintain the integrity of the financial reporting and follow the GAAP and SEC policy.

In addition, the Property Accountant works closely with the Sr.

Accountant as a team to aid corporate, regional, and on-site personnel.nn nn n nn nn Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: nn nn Daily/Monthly Responsibilities: nn nnCash management review of multiple entities (includes but not limited to reviewing credit card receipts,nn nndaily posting of rental receipts in RealPage and maintaining a positive cash balance)nn nnPreparing property deposits and posting them to the general ledgernn nnNSF retrieval from CEO and forwarding to Community Managersnn nnPositive Pay submissions to Wells Fargonn nnResponsible for submitting stop payment as needednn nnReconciliation of Pcard receipts and ensuring that everyone submits through the Pcard receipts email.

Review to make sure that all transactions are valid and has the correct GL codenn nnReconciliation of payroll transactions from the GL to the labor distributionsnn nnPerforms month-end close process in OneSite Leasing and Rents
– Includes reviewing all month-end reports to ensure they reconcile with the general ledger balancesnn nnMonthly update of loan information schedulenn nnProvides assistance to operations, applying financial principles and accounting best practicesnn nnPrepares special report/projects by analyzing variances, preparing budgets and forecastsnn nnResponds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting datann nn Quarterly/Annual Responsibilities as directed by the manager: nn nnQuarterly update of Operating Performance Report for assigned portfolio, utility deposit, and replacement reserve draw reports.nn nnQuarterly accrual of Capital Rehab Fees (supervision fees)nn nnEnsures the timely payment of property taxes, liability insurance, and other business tax and license renewal payments and updating property tax tracking reportnn nnPrepare the quarterly reserve draw submissions, obtain final approval by the Controller and/or Asst.

Controller and submits to the lendernn nn Preparation of monthly financial statements: nn nnGeneral Ledger analysis, analyzing and investigating variances and trends.

(Includes reviewing all transactions and ensure accuracy of GL coding and making necessary corrections as needed).nn nnRecords all monthly accruals
– Accruals that are submitted from operations need to be reviewed and analyzed for accuracy.nn nnReviews all reclassification entries provided by the Community Managers and responsible for booking transactions to the accounting systemnn nnBalance sheet account reconciliations which include but not limited to monthly escrow account reconciliations, delinquent and prepaid accounts, intercompany accounts, and other balance sheet accountsnn nnRecords loan draws and replacement reserve reimbursementsnn nnReconciliation of insurance claim reimbursements and disbursementsnn nn n nn nn Join our Team!
