Project Accountant – Hybrid Remote

Immediate need for experienced Project Accountant / Construction Accounting Assistant with at least 3 years of construction accounting experience to join headquarters accounting team for multi office Construction Company.(br((br(This individual is responsible for full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable that includes processing payments to vendors with accurate job costing, contractor compliance, and preparation of owner draws.

The Project Accountant will work closely with several Project Managers and Project Administrators.(br((br((strong(Benefits are highly competitive and include 3 weeks vacation, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 K with match, Bonus, Flexible hours and tuition reimbursement.

Little to no expected overtime.(br((br((/strong(Responsibilities include but are not limited to:(br((ul((li(Audit and process invoices into accounting system and run checks as needed(/li((li(Request, verify, and maintain appropriate documentation from vendors and subcontractors(/li((li(Obtain and review subcontractor waivers required for billing(/li((li(Assemble and provide AIA billings as needed per Controller direction(/li((li(Keep Project Managers/Management informed regarding any ongoing issues with subs/vendors(/li((li(Distribute job cost reports to internal personnel as needed(/li((li(Enter job cost corrections as directed(/li((li(Administration of corporate credit card program(/li((li(Keeping open payables current and substantiated(/li((li(Assist with audits, filing, scanning, or other administrative tasks(/li((li(Perform weekly payroll uploads of employee time cards and verify accuracy of payroll prior to submission to third party processor(/li((li(Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor(br((br((/li((/ul(Minimum Qualifications include:(br((ul((li(A minimum of 2 years of experience in A/P / A/R or construction accounting(/li((li(Basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge as demonstrated by a four year degree or relevant experience(/li((li(Working knowledge of Timberline/Sage software a plus(/li((li(Microsoft Office experience, specifically Excel(br((br((/li((/ul(Job Type: Full-time(br((br(Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year(br((br((strong(Benefits are highly competitive and include 3 weeks vacation, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 K with match, Bonus, Flexible hours and tuition reimbursement.
