This role will work closely with the Director of Accounting on production accounting with a primary focus on our largest accounts.
They will work daily with the project management teams to track spend against budgets as well as create reports for the clients and management team.nn nn n nn nn Key Responsibilities nn nn
· Enter weekly payroll and code purchase orders for project-related chargesnn nn
· Support in maintaining documents for the project producer:nn nno Update current costs & ensure that we are within budgetnn nno Organize new hire information for projectsnn nno Flag coding errorsnn nn
· Create monthly and quarterly reports for clientsnn nn
· Produce ad-hoc reports for the management teamnn nn
· Assist in reconciling accounts for quarterly closenn nn
· Monitor weekly staff hour submissionsnn nn
· Produce staffing reportsnn nn
· Enter purchase orders into travel reimbursement doc and collect documentation for reimbursement billing (monthly)nn nn
· Review amounts for travel reimbursement and organizes a packet with corresponding receipts before billing submissionnn nn
· Ensure costs are coded correctlynn nn
· Reconcile payroll entries biweeklynn nn
· Complete audit job summaries (due a month after jobs have closed)nn nno Update as late costs are moved in/out of jobs nn nn
· Reconcile producer actuals against accounting reports for production shootsnn nno Ensure costs are coded correctly and that all expenses have been accounted fornn nn n nn nn Required Qualifications nn nn
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financenn nn
· 3-4 years experience in an accounting rolenn nn
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheetsnn nn
· Experience with CAPS and CAPS+ a plusnn nn
· Must be highly organized, detailed-oriented and self-motivatednn nn
· Ability to prioritize, multi-task and complete work in a timely mannernn nn
· Ability to communicate with all levels within the organizationnn
