Manager Financial Accounting, Reporting & Analysis

Job Description:
Maintain a tight monthly financial close timeline and schedule Prepare and post journal entries, G/L maintenance Assist the Controller in preparing timely and accurate financial statements for both US and Consolidated TPG Manage daily treasury functions, including preparation of monthly bank reconciliations to ensure proper transacting by the staff accountant Prepare and submit weekly reports for lender compliance and related analysis Own the cost accounting function (inventory controls, reporting, COGS) Inventory accounting ownership Ensure timely submission of corporate filings; including but not limited to Sales & Use tax, etc.

Assist in the development, process improvements, and implementation of new procedures as necessary Assist with audits and other Adhoc projects Drive functional efficiencies and add value; Coach and mentor team members

Qualifications:
5+ years of accounting, financial reporting experience required 3+ in public accounting experience and 2+ years in a supervisory capacity preferred Required experience in Inventory Accounting (at least 1 year) Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/ Finance required Very strong GAAP knowledge required Experience with inventory required (wholesale, manufacturing, retail industry) Must be highly proficient using Microsoft Excel Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills A proactive person who can multitask has sharp decision-making skills, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency Strong work ethic with the ability to work extended hours during critical periods
