Lead Financial Analyst

– Lead Financial Analyst Location

– 12 months contract (very likely extensions) Job Responsibilities: Support budget and forecast activities including working with non-finance business counterparts or business partners, prepare rolling budget / forecast reports for management, drive trend analysis Provide periodic and ad hoc analysis to divisional management to support business decision making Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial models, data, reporting and cost estimates Review and report prior and current year actuals including variance analysis against budget and outlook Help managers interpret reports and support ad-hoc analysis requests from executive management Monitor investments and capital expenditures Gather information for long term strategic planning and develop materials for Deep Dive and Project Review meetings Support in RFP responses and pricing, drive portfolio analytics and prepare RFP financials Track / review subcontractor costs, prepare billing schedules and analyze trends in revenue / costs to drive actionable insights Monitor investments and capital expenditures Verify that transactions are documented and in compliance with GAAP, government regulations and client contractual obligations Streamline and improve existing processes and consult with internal and external clients Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
– MBA or equivalent professional experience strongly preferred Relevant Years of Experience Required More than 7 years of progressively responsible financial experience Prior experience analyzing financial data for a mid to large size organization and preparing reports for management is desired Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills and MS Office proficiency ( MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Teams, PowerPoint etc.) Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong financial systems acumen and expertise in financial modeling and planning skillset Proficiency in an ERP (e.g.

PeopleSoft / Oracle Cloud), Alteryx and visualization tools (Tableau / Power BI) is good to have Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills Good knowledge of financial concepts and ability to interpret data Detail oriented, excellent written and oral communication skills, adaptability, analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

Ability to work well with minimal supervision and a willingness to propose solutions and process improvements.
