Preparing financial statements and projections for compliance with parent company’s listed status.Job Type: Full time, Intermediate levelJob Duties:Recording financial transactionsPayrollCompleting financial projections in line with the listing rules of the SGX listing rulesHandling accounts payable and receivableCompleting tax formsManaging profit and loss statements and balance sheetsPaying regular bills for the companyMaintaining company ledgersHandling client invoices by recording and approving or denying the paymentsAppropriately coding payables to prepare them for the accountant’s input laterDistributing money appropriately to various departments within the companyInvoicing deliveries and paying vendors for their goods and servicesMaintaining office supplies by keeping an inventory and ordering new supplies as neededPreparing purchase orders in accordance with requests for materialsHandling subsidiary accountsFiling historical records and retrieving necessary documents as needed for othersResearching and complying with federal, state, and local requirements as they pertain to the company’s operations and financial activitiesMonitoring debt levels and ensuring compliance with debt covenantsRecording cash receipts and handling bank depositsMaintaining petty cashPreparing information for auditorsKeeping an annual company budgetProviding administrative and clerical support as neededSkills and Qualifications:Fundamentals of Accounting: 2-4 years of accounting experience backed by a bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance.CPA license is preferred.Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements (Federal and State of California)In-house experience is preferred but not essential.Attention to detail: Kingsmen prides itself on producing high quality work, scrutinizing important numbers and formulas for accuracy, and using spreadsheets and system data to reconcile accounts and solve problems.Working knowledge of accounting software and spreadsheets (QuickBooks/Sage and Excel).In-house and Industry experience is not essential to the position if you are enthusiastic about the position, have a strong accounting background and capable of learning quickly.Adaptable You have to be comfortable in an ever-changing eco-system of content, finance and accounting issues and projects.Curiosity and passion Our team members ask probing questions, challenge the status quo, make changes to improve processes teach you as long as you’re excited about learning.Starting Date: July 1st 2021Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Social distanced in the office and all staff vaccinated.Ability to Commute/Relocate:Los Angeles, CA 90036 (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Accounting: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:CPA (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:No
