Accounting Assistant needed for a long-term assignment with a local company that is a world leader in the design, production and distribution of high-end prescription frames and sunglasses.
Accounting Assistant responsibilities:
• Preparing and filing Sales tax returns for states and various cities across the United States, together with timely making payments for those returns. Assisting to update quarterly states’ sales tax rate changes
• Month-end closing accounting entries including brands royalty accrual and reclassification entries
• Preparing and filing Royalty reports together with timely payments to licensors
• Preparing and distributing of month-end analysis reports such as (bank charges, credit card merchant charge report, unapplied cash, etc.)
• Distribution of several daily, weekly and month-end reports
Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Pay: $22
Location: Sun Valley
- Previous accounting related experience
- Proficient with Excel skills
- Accounting degree is a plus
High School1- 2 years
